Take the DNA sample at least 1 hour after eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth. We recommend rinsing your mouth with water before taking the sample.

[[instructionDetailTag|4|STEP|Turn the cup upside down insert the sponge into the tube and close tightly.|#|4-dna-2x.png]]

[[instructionDetailTag|5|STEP|Invert the capped tube and shake vigorously 15 times.|#|5-dna-2x.png]]
